FISHING REPORT FOR MAY 12, 2012.

FISHING REPORT FOR SATURDAY MAY 12th,
GOOD MORNING, THE FISHING TODAY WAS EXCELLENT TIM PAGE WAS OUR GUIDE, MY FISHING BUDDY WAS  DAVE RAWSON AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME OUT ON THE WATER FOR FOUR HOURS. WE FISHED THE USUAL SUBMERGED RIDGES AND FLATS CATCHING OVER THIRTY FISH WITH FIFTEEN OF THEM BEING KEEPER SIZE. THE BAITS WE USED WERE THE GREEN PUMKIN HULA GRUB AND THE GREEN FISH DOCTOR PLASTIC ZOOM WORM. WE FOUND RIDGES AND FLATS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKE THAT WERE TEN TO FIFTEEN FEET DEEP AND FISHED THEM HARD.

THE FISHING IS SHOWING SIGNS OF BEGINNING TO CHANGE TO WHERE WE ARE STARTING TO CATCH SOME NICE BIG SPOTTED BASS  WITH A SIMPLE DROP SHOT OR NIGHT CRAWLER ABOUT TWENTY FIVE TO THIRTY FIVE FEET DEEP OFF OF POINTS. THIS TYPE OF FISHING IS GREAT TO TAKE OUT MY GREAT GRAND CHILDREN WITH THEIR DADS SO THEY CAN HAVE SOME FUN.

UNTIL NEXT TIME  HOPE TO SEE YOU OUT ON THE WATER ENJOYING SOME GOOD FISHING IN GODS BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS.

 BLESSINGS,

TONY BATTAGLIA
